My Birth Story
This is the most beautiful thing I've ever had to write in my entire life. With my little angel sleeping next to me ,My heart starts thinking of where I was exactly at this moment 5 months back..
Doctor gave my due as Feb 18th and we decided to admit in the hospital a day before. After all the initial checkups was over, I got into the room...Waiting for the pain to come...Waiting..Waiting..Waiting...in between Monitoring baby's heart beat,scanning to check Aminotic fluid level...Is my baby so comfortable to be inside her Mom and doesnot want to come out soon?
On 18th night before I go to bed, I strongly felt that I will see my baby before next day afternoon. Slept off after reading 'Kandha sashti Kavasam' for three times.
At 4:15 in the morning, my water had been broken and my contractions started. I had been taken to the emergency room. I took bath and took hot milk. My contractions were in full force, it lasts for 2 minutes everytime.My dear Dr. Savithri entered the room..I regained all the energy on seeing her and shouted "Dr..yeppo delivery aagum?"..she smiled at me and told "Dear..innum konja neram dhaan..u will deliver a beautiful ,healthy baby"..My contractions went to peak and Dr decided to shift me to the Labour room..I shifted gears..'amma,appa,murugaa' on my way to the labour room..
I loved the feeling of people waiting outside anxiously for our baby .Arun,amma,vidhya,aunty,appa,bobby,uncle,praveen... I loved it..It felt special. ...and Ananya was ready to come out..It was all just happening so fast .they were telling me to push. They were telling me 'just one more' 'final one gowri' 'that's it' and then suddenly my life was going to change.
I pushed. I pushed and watched as the tiniest little body came out of me, arms down, tiny legs...I couldnt believe..
At this moment, I heard the sound of our little one which fill the room...
My dear Doctor, my nurses...all of them smiling ...
And I began to cry and asked "Dr, My lil one is healthy? is it a girl or boy"?
Dr. smiled at me ,hug my shoulders and said " You got a rose kutty girl,healthy and weighs 3.66kgs"..and they put her in my arms
My beautiful, perfect daughter...kutty sister for archu and sanju... Ditto like Arun...Wanted to see him and give this rose bunch to him...
I hold Dr's hands and whispered "Thank you Dr. Thanks for bringing my baby to this world"...
Aah...5 months over so soon? How I missed to write the birth story of our sweet Ananya all these days?
Finally, the day has come for writing ....
